Strike on military infrastructure in Dnepropetrovsk region Tonight a massive strike was carried out on the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk airport, which is actively used by the Ukrainian Air Force. The strike destroyed an AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel short- and medium-range three-dimensional radar and damaged one of the NASAMS launchers. The AN/TPQ-64 is a multifunction radar designed to search, detect and identify up to 60 airborne targets and to engage up to 3 SAMs. Some time after the damage, one of the rockets in the launcher detonated (presumably damaged by the blast wave), setting off a chain reaction that resulted in the detonation of reserve ammunition.
