How To Make A Fabric Book Start to Finish - Tutorial - Slow Stitch Journal & Landscape Flip Through

People ask what I do with my slow stitched art, so I have prepared a video for you showing how to make a fabric book for your slow stitching. This is my favourite way to use my slow stitched pieces. I like to be able to flip through these books and look at my work. I also like to feel the textures. You’ll see in the video all but one of the fabric landscapes I have stitched for you on this channel. The one I left out is wintery so I’ll add that to a winter themed book one day. To make a fabric book you can use all felt. You could also leave your edges raw, but what I have done here is hemmed the raw edges to match the edges of the kitchen towel that were already hemmed. This video is longer than usual but there are quite a few steps involved. I hope you enjoy it and learn something new. Here’s the playlist which includes all the tutorials for my landscapes shown in this video. Please subscribe so you don’t miss the ones yet to come. This is where I got the Leather Waxed Thread Cord I used to tie the book **For the best viewing experience, please be sure to watch my videos at the highest resolution. ** Follow me on Instagram - Visit me on Facebook - Etsy - Visit my blog for free patterns - #Slowstitching #sewing #fabriccollage #handsewing #stitching #embroidery #handembroidery #textileart #handstitched #mindfulstitching #scrapfabric #books #album #storage #art Subscribe to my channel for more slow stitching inspiration. I will show you how to do hand sewing, fabric appliqué, and needle turn appliqué using mostly scrap fabric. My videos have no chatting in them only the occasional subtitle when I feel the need to provide a little more information. I hope you’ll be able to learn something simply by watching me stitch without words.
