Schizophrenia is the name for a group of mental disorders, often referred to as “psychotic” disorders. Although developing schizophrenia can have a great impact on the life of the individual and his/her family, this is not always the case. The range of outcomes is very broad and many patients are able to live a normal life after an episode of schiza.
