Norman Shetler on Wilhelm Kempff - Documentary 2010

Norman Shetler, a documentary film by Kevin Hanek takes a look back at the foundation of Shetler’s brilliant playing and some highlights of his career. The footage was obtained during Hanek’s visit to Vienna in 2010, where he and Shetler sat down for a few hours to discuss - well, Norman, of course. As he approaches the age of ninety, the time is rife for this examination.
