It sounds unlikely on two counts, as Carroll is not renowned for finding the net much these days, nor is he considered the romantic type, but in the clip below he scores on two fronts. Carroll is clearly the instigator of the intimate moment and his target Fabianski does not appear to have enjoyed their close encounter - a sad case of unrequited love. The Polish stopper is left wiping his mouth and holding his neck in disgruntled fashion after receiving this public display of affection.
