Formed in New York City, the Brass Ring were led by Phil Bodner and began their chart run in 1966, when the single, “The Phoenix Love Theme” reached #32 on the Hot-100. Three other 45s followed until ““The Disadvantages Of You” returned them to the Hot-100 (#36) in 1967. “The Disadvantages Of You” album was the Brass Ring’s fourth and reached #193 on the album chart.
