Sting performed exclusively live at the prestigious Grand Gala du Disque, the annual TV gala of AVRO Television in the Netherlands on 29 September 1993 with his hit ‘Shape Of My Heart’. He was accompanied by Belgian harpplayer Toots Thielemans. “Shape of My Heart“ is a song from his album ’Ten Summoner’s Tales’, released in 1993. The song was co-written by guitarist Dominic Miller. The song was used for the end credits of the film Léon with Jean Reno and Natalie Portman. Other performers at the Gala were Meat Loaf, Oleta Adams and Mariah Carey.
