Serbian president Vucic says he received coup warning from Russia through official channels The announcement was made the day before planned protests against the Rio TInto lithium mining project that would be an environmental disaster — polluting water and agricultural land. Vucic did not elaborate on where the threat comes from or who is behind it. Serbia’s Security Intelligence Agency (BIA) is allegedly acting on the leads provided by Moscow.
