Poland Lists Demands From Belarus As Military Tensions Peak; Troops Swell At NATO Border
NATO nation Poland has expressed skepticism after Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said he is ready to mend ties. Lukashenko, a key ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, reached out to the West, saying he wants better ties with neighbouring Poland as well as with the EU. Poland’s deputy foreign minister, Pawel Jablonski, said that Belarus must fulfill key demands, including a stop to the hybrid war if it wants a good relationship with Warsaw.
