WHERE THE MOTHS GO (FULL ALBUM)

WHERE THE MOTHS GO is a folk-influenced ambient, drone, and noise project, and is the second full-length project from ash2ash. This was an intensely personal album to make, and the fact that this album was very low-promo kind of contributed to that haha. As a result, it’ll probably be a bit longer before the next record in this style. But, I do have other projects I am working on! This record is also a spiritual successor to my previous project, YOU WILL SOON FIND ME. Where the last project was the soundtrack to being in and breaking through depression, anxiety, and dissociative mental states (which I was going through at the time), this project is the soundtrack to the aftermath of that. After I started doing a lot better emotionally after YWSFM (in large part thanks to you guys!), I felt this realization of the damage my negative mentality caused at the time. It was an intensely emotional period of rebuilding myself, while being paranoid over the possibility of returning to that negative space. All this is to say, I’m doing a lot better now, and that I’m really proud of this project. Thank you guys so much for supporting me, it genuinely means the world!
