It has been a long time since the release of my first cover single but the wait is finally over. With my gratefulness to the support and encouragement of my family, friends, collaborators and of course- all of you viewers, I have worked on my second single- this time a cover of the song “Maaeri” by Euphoria. Having grown up in the 90s, one cannot help but feel nostalgic about this number which epitomized the burgeoning Indie-pop scene. ‘Maaeri’, a track on their second album “Phir Dhoom” (2000) under the label of Archies music with its titillating melody evokes a sense of sorrow with which the singer speaks of his lost love to his mother. I am certain that there would hardly be anyone who has heard this song and not been struck by the grip it takes over one. In keeping this very spirit alive and an attempt to incarnate the es
