Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (Russian emigration), 1922

This monarchist song is an appeal of the great poet of Russian emigration Sergej Bekhtejev, an officer of the White Army and a devoted supporter of the last emperor Nicholas II. It can be considered a true march of monarchistically inclined emigrants, who carried the ideas of reconquering lost Russia and saving its enslaved people - in the song you hear the forgotten voice of the Czar, convening his faithful knights without fear and reproach for a holy war. In this video, this poem is set to music and performed by the “Gromoglas” band.
Portrayed by a Russian knight from the painting by Konstantin Vasil’jev, symbolizing the timeless context and sense of the song.
