A Dainty Handbag (1927)

No title. Film which shows how to make a dainty handbag from crepe paper. Woman stands at a table and folds a piece of paper into a thin strip. She then cuts the strip into several lengths and pins them to a board. She then weaves together strips of different colours to make a woven square. She places a piece of lining fabric over the top of the woven square and cuts it to shape. She pins the lining to the paper. Ribbon is used to trim the edges. We see the ribbon being sewn around the paper and lining. The edge is then turned over and the bag is complete. Bag is seen being opened in C/U. Various different bags are presented to the camera. M/S of woman in a cloche hat looking at one of the bags and smiling at the camera.
