Ringing Rocks, Montana

This is a highly unusual rock formation located in the hills near Whitehall, Montana. When the boulders are lightly tapped with a hammer they ring like a bell. Different rocks produce different sound qualities and a rock will no longer ring at all if removed from the formation. There are only two such locations in the United States: Here and in Pennsylvania.
