Faeland Bosses (No Damage) and Ending for Chapter 1 of Early Access

The two bosses you can fight in the first chapter of early access for Faeland. Sam is a kid who lives alone in the woods until an army of monsters trashes his place and forces him on a quest to fulfill a Fae prophecy. The game will be released in chapters until the full release is done (I believe it’s 6 chapters for the full game). It’s a very lovely game and one I’ve been looking forward to. The pixel art is great and it’s a pretty enjoyable bit of exploration. For the $20 price tag it might encourage waiting for more chapters first unless this is a game you definitely want to play right away. The first phase of the Kraken is very weird to do hitless and I ended up just relying on RNG to guess where the Kraken would spawn (it never reuses the same spot so it’s basically 50-50). Otherwise, you have 2-3 tentacles that are difficult to kill and rolling/blocking may have you get pulled in to the Kraken while it inhales for damage. The roll is kind of bad as it’s quite slow and covers very little distance. As well, P2/P3 require going along the ceiling or floor to not have the tentacles slap you (and they will slap as they slowly rise at the start of P2) but they’re both the much easier phase.
