Remember - Al McLean & Brian Hurley

Last tune of the third set. It’s 1am, and this great band lays down a beautiful performance on Irving Berlin’s “Remember“. Al McLean is playing on a vintage Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone, and conjures some of the great alto players in his performance. The pair are joined by fine Montreal guitarist Carlos Jimenez and West Coast drummer Jesse Cahill. Cahill, incidentally, was very pleased to be involved in a Jazz, Period. shoot as he is an avid photographer in addition to his work in music.
