‘It’s hard to imagine the agony they went through when they were burnt alive...’ says Anna Soroka, advisor to LPR head, about the patients of a nursing home in the village of Staraya Krasnyanka in Donbass. 56 people died here. Ukrainian soldiers established MG firing positions inside the building and fired from floors and stairways. They didn’t evacuate people and when Ukrainian combat vehicles loaded with shells exploded, dozens of elderly and disabled patients were trapped inside the house. Just a few people survived.
