Historic visit by President Bashar Al Assad to Moscow

President Bashar Al Assad arrives in Moscow tonight. Talks will be held with President Putin. The official reception was at Vnukova International Airport. The Syrian and Russian national anthems were played as President Assad was greeted by a guard of honour. The President was met by Mikhail Bogdanov, special representative of President Putin, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Yvimov and Dr Bashar Al Jaafari Syrian Ambassador to Moscow. President Bashar Al Assad arrives in Russia for meetings with President Putin. This follows Western exploitation of the earthquake to further encroach on Syrian territory and Israeli aggression which ultimately put Aleppo Airport out of action for a few days.
