Aikido Wrist Locks from JKD/Wing Chun Trapping Drills
Thank you for watching our video on Japanese Aikido Joint Locks. Instead of just applying a typical joint lock, Sensei JD uses the trapping drills from Wing Chun, Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do or even Filipino Martial Arts to enter into these locks.
The basic trapping drill is called hubad or hubbad. The wrist locks are Ikkyo, Sankyo, Kotegashi, and Gokyo. These are all major wrist locks in the martial art Aikido.
