The Yohkai tent was packed beyond its borders, as the 5 men known as Frontierer—who just beforehand were in extensive stretching poses, patting and hugging each other, and all around being calm and sweet—took the stage. What happened next was a glorious, raw, childlike cacophony expressed at maximum volume. Their passion showed no boundary, blending the rhythmic complexity of Meshuggah with the antics of The Dillinger Escape Plan, plus the pulses of what sounded like extraterrestrial gunfire.
