On Russian Tank Production

🇷🇺 On Russian Tank Production Uralvagonzovod, Russia’s famous tank factory, producing the legendary T-34 during WW2, now produces the T-90M, Russia’s most modern mass-produced main battle tank. The New York Times recently admitted that Russia has since doubled tank production. It claims new tanks have gone from 100/year to 200. Previously, Western sources including Novaya Gazeta, admitted to 250 new tanks a year (before February 2022) 600 modernized tanks (T-72B3Ms with the same guns/fire control/thermal sights/engines as the T-90M). If Russia doubled that production, we’re talking 500 new tanks along with maybe 1,200 modernized tanks - nearly 2,000 tanks which is getting close to a number Andrei Martyanov cited, around 3,000 tanks/year... Whatever the truth, Russian forces will have a steady supply of modern MBTs Russian tankers are familiar with, while Ukraine watches its supply of tanks grow in variety (receiving tanks Ukrainians are unfamiliar with) while dropping in both quantity and US Congress approved a project to extend funding for the country’s government, which does not include assistance to Ukraine. Biden will sign it in the coming hours. #source Источник: Brian Berletic’s Newatlas Channel
