Watch In Full: The Queen’s Speech

In her first official engagement since the death of her husband, the Queen has spoken in the Houses of Parliament to set out the government’s agenda for the next parliamentary term. In past years Her Majesty has worn full regal regalia, but this year she chose to wear day dress - a coat and hat in lavender, a colour associated in the past with mourning. Among the bills announced in the speech, the government promised to tackle obesity and improve mental health support, but there is no sign of long-promised legislation to reform adult social care.
