Arjen Lucassen’s Supersonic Revolution - The Glamattack (Official Lyric Video)

Pre-order: Here it is… always very scary for me… the first single and videoclip of my new band Supersonic Revolution called ‘The Glamattack’! Please let me know what you think of it in the comments below. Can’t wait to read it since this is a new band that I’m very proud of, so… very curious! This song The Glamattack is about the rise of glamrock in the early seventies with acts like T Rex, Sweet, Alice Cooper and David Bowie. Back then I wanted to BE these artists! I even remember stealing my mother’s wig and singing into a hairbrush in front of the mirror. I really loved the theatrics and the outrageous image of these glitter bands; they were about more than just music. This video was made by Dave Letelier, and for me he really captured the colorful vibe of the early seventies. Yeah sure… it’s totally over-the-top and excruciatingly colorful, but that’s what this band is all about… MORE = MORE 😊 Vocals – Jaycee Drums – Koen Herfst Hammond – Joost van den Broek Guitar – Timo Somers Bass – Arjen Lucassen The Glamattack - LYRICS Action! Get down, get with it! seventy-one, time for a change the hype is on, it’s shocking and strange he takes the stage, sky in his hair hot love in the air – everywhere four London lads, living their dreams they start a band, as sweet as can be raising hell, outrageous and wild leave the sixteens behind – in style hairspray and make up, satin and gold platform heels and you’re good to go outfits of silver, outshine the sun The glamattack is on out of the dark with blackened eyes the king of shock took the world by surprise electric chairs, spiders and snakes rock will never be the same – again crimson blaze crossing his face we were told he came down from space thin and white, red spikey hair no one out there compares – I swear slap on some lipstick, highlight your hair You’re defined by the clothes you wear splash on some glitter, show us no fear The glamattack is here No one to turn to, not a friend in the world Just me and my shadow, ignored by the girls I put my headphones on and dream away the days One day it’s me up there shining on that stage #arjenlucassen #supersonicrevolution
