Bald Ball Aka Bald Headed Ball (1968)

London. At the entrance of a club a doorman checks the men arriving to a special party - bald men party - Bald Headed Ball. Only genuinely bald men can attend so doorman pats each on head to make sure they fulfil requirement. Bald men are seen talking to girls, mingling - having fun. A man chooses one of the bald men and directs him to a chair in the corner. He then finds a ’toupee’ - a hair piece and puts it on bald man’s head. He combs ’his’ hair and lets him go. Another man sits at his place. While hair specialist fits a new hair piece, happy hairy man goes to his lady friend and passes her test - she seems pleased with his new look. Party is being thrown by Harley Street hair specialist Leonard Pountney as a piece of salesmanship - he is there to show the men the advantages of having a toupee. Succession of shots shows different men getting wigs fitted and making their girls happy.
