Russia Targets Counteroffensive, Western Weapons At UN Meet, Ukraine Cites “Existential Battle“

A large fire is burning at the Novorossiysk fuel oil terminal in Novorossiysk, one of the largest ports on the Black Sea that is located about 172 km from Crimea. The terminal, which has a capacity of 119,000 cubic metres and a throughput of 5 million tons a year, is Russia’s main oil export hub in the region. It’s unclear as of now if the fire was caused by a Ukrainian drone strike, of which there have been several on Russian territory in the past day. A senior UN official has expressed expressed concern about “reports related to the transfer and use of cluster munitions” to Ukraine. Izumi Nakamitsu said, “the influx of weapons and ammunition into any armed conflict can contribute to the escalation and presents significant risks.” The UN official spoke at a Security Council meeting called by the Russian Federation on the transfer of weapons to Ukraine. #russia #ukraine #russiaukrainewar #unsc #blacksea #putin #zelensky n18oc_world n18oc_crux 0:00 INTRODUCTION 2:24 UKRAINIAN COMMANDER VIS
