LOVE (Swingtime at 2006 Anniversary Ball)

An original piece called “LOVE“ set to the smooth croonings of Nat King Cole, performed by Swingtime Dance Troupe at Richard and Tracy’s Anniversary Ball in November of 2006. Created by Meg Kale and debuted by Swingtime in 2006, this piece shows our “softer“ side, mixing in romantic sways with our staples of classic partnering and fun jazz steps. It makes a nice complement to the faster, high-flying pieces in our stable of choreographies. The costumes (red dresses and striped zoot pants) were designed and made by Victoria Ridenour. The music, of course, is “.“ by Nat King Cole. Legend has it Meg choreographed this entire piece in her head while on a run!
