The Man Who Made the Hu Band’s Instruments | The Nomad Story

You’ve probably heard about a band called the Hu. Well, Baigaljav is one of the men behind the instruments that bring their music to life. It took him three months to make 3 of the instruments for the band that’s taken the heavy metal world by storm, who reached No.1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock with their hit, “Wolf Totem“. The fiddle, made with only two strings from a horse’s tail, can play everything from Mongolian melodies to western classical music with its unusually deep and rich sound. Join us, as we visit his workshop in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to see the process behind creating this unique instrument.
