Paradox’ Mysticism (Unknown) — The Kryptic Hymns of Kosmic Labyrinths — 2024 full length

The second record and the debut album of this mysterious act. Paradox’ Mysticism returns with their sophomore effort, The Kryptic Hymns of Kosmic Labyrinths, a release that unexpectedly follows their debut and initially seemed like a one-off project. This new offering, however, sheds a different light on the act, revealing a potential for growth and experimentation. Although my assessment might not be entirely true, maybe due to listening to Nihil Invocation last night, it allowed me to make some correlations, especially on the mid paced path. Compared to the previous record we have a similar approach still within the lo-fi spectrum with an added propensity for synths. A great record expanding what was seen before, applying a good amount of harmony in the dark outline of black metal. Vinyl and CD version available during summer 2024 through ASRAR.
