The pseudo-3D visuals are absolutely amazing for the time, much of which looks pre-rendered or digitised in some way. The game is based somewhat loosely on the events spanning Aliens and Alien 3 movies, with a team of marines escaping a xenomorph-infested Sulaco to the equally infested prison-planet of Fiorina Fury 161. You blast your way through legions of aliens and other horrors, just hoping to make it to the end of the game. Interestingly, there are a couple of branching paths on a couple of levels, which offer some level of replayability.
