Why we need Half Life 3

Eli finally gets to play Half-Life: Alyx! Eli’s HLA reaction video: Little boy is crushed by news that there will be no Half Life 3. (spoilers) UPDATE: Thanks for the support, everyone. But I would like to state, for the record, that I never intended for this to turn into a Valve/Gaben bash fest. I don’t know the G-man (see what I did there? :) ), and it’s not my place to lob ad hominems at him. I realize most of you guys are joking around with your jabs at him - it’s all in good fun. And having been in the public eye for so long, I’m sure he can handle it by now. But I would just like to state mine and Eli’s position here. Yes we are both extremely disappointed reading the tea leaves for HL3; we really really want it! But we are also extremely grateful for the excellent and hard work that Gaben and his team have contributed to the world. They have created great memories for me and my son. Even Valve’s New Employee Handbook has influenced my own work (I’m a sw engineer [well, technically fw]. Go check it out; it’s a fun read :) ). Anywho, Eli and I would love to see HL3, Gaben, but know that we had a great time together playing through the franchise, starting from HL1! Those times are indeed priceless. For that, we are truly grateful to you, and to the good folks at Valve! Cheers, my friend!
