🔴 Ukrainie War - Russian KA-52 Emergency Landing During Combat Sortie At Hostomel Airport • POV

Intense video footage reportedly released by the Russian MoD shows a Russian KA-52 attack helicopter conducting a low flying combat sortie at Hostomel Airport on February 24th. The video shows the helicopter engaging assumed Ukrainian infantry positions while evading a number of incoming MANPADS before bein hit by one of them and having to conduct a emergency landing in a nearby field. The helicopter was providing close air support for the Russian landing forces and coverred a MI-8 transport helicopter loaded with Russian paratroopers. Another video released from that day that showed a group of Russian paratroopers assulting the airport could have been from the same mission. The Russian MoD reported that the crew dismounted the helicopter after the emergency landing and got in to defensive positions to wait for evacuation by another Russian helicopter strike group on the way to the airport.
