New Shamisen World Fusion Release! (Brisbane Ladies)

New song from Waves of Harmony (the long-awaited 40 song fusion project) is here!! Brisbane Ladies is one of my most favorite Australian cowboy songs. An old friend (Ron Swenson) taught it to me when I was 12 (we’d play clawhammer banjo together during the weekly Santa Cruz jams), and that song has remained my top songs. 21 years later, I finally have an opportunity to play it fully realized! Lyrical correction: “Rovers“ should be “drovers“. I didn’t realize I left the ’d’ out until it was released, but close enough! I reckon drovers have roved from time to time. Producing this 40 song series was a huge endeavor, and I need support to make more fusion music.
