Led Zeppelin - Live in Los Angeles, CA (June 22nd, 1977) - Newly Upgraded Source!

As requested by Herr Alexander, here is the brand new transfer of Barry G’s source for the band’s 2nd show in Los Angeles during their 1977 North American tour. Thanks Barry G’s generous partnership with JEMS, this is the first time his full recording has been shared, as it previously circulated in fragments. While the first song and a half, Ten Years Gone, and the last few songs are missing from this tape, this is nonetheless a huge upgrade over previous versions of this show. While it’s still somewhat noisy and distorted in the lower end (especially during loud moments), thanks to JEMS transfer and Dadgad’s subsequent remastering, this is easily the best this show has sounded yet. And what a show it is! I’ve always considered this my personal favorite gig of the LA run and my favorite 77 show in general. It combines the tight fury of the June 21st show (known as “Listen to this Eddie“ with the looseness and fun of the June 23rd show (known as “For Badgeholders Only“). This is also a unique show in that it contains the longest version of No Quarter ever (clocking in at over 33 minutes), and the only time both In My Time of Dying and Over the Hills and Far Away were played in the same show in 1977. I absolutely cannot recommend this show enough. Special thanks to Barry G for taping this show, JEMS for transferring it, Dadgad for remastering it, and Mysterii for the thumbnail! 0:00 Sick Again (cut) 1:54 Nobody’s Fault But Mine 9:29 In My Time of Dying 24:10 Since I’ve Been Loving You (cut) 32:56 No Quarter (cut) 1:06:32 The Battle of Evermore 1:13:07 Going to California 1:18:59 Black Country Woman 1:20:42 Bron-Y-Aur Stomp 1:29:40 White Summer/Black Mountain Side 1:39:34 Kashmir 1:49:09 Over the Top 2:06:46 Over the Hills and Far Away 2:14:45 Guitar Solo 2:31:52 Achilles Last Stand (cut) Bootleg: Barry G Master Tapes via JEMS and dadgad
