Sleep deprivation, including: insomnia, night terrors and bed wetting (less common than before); wakes up several times during night, often between 2 and 4AM (1-3 hours after falling asleep). Appetite at acceptable level comparing to past weeks. Hygiene is maintained by nurses. Does not demand or want anything; seems to feel empty and apathetic. Occasionally uses received sketchbook to draw, mostly young male figures with dolls, tall buildings with flags and pits of water that she refers to as “pools“. Patient remains under observation. Female, 14; observation notes from Patient is hard to communicate with, has troubles with recognizing people and emotions. Sleep deprivation: severe insomnia; stays awake until 6-7AM, whispers with unintelligible words and sentences during the night; sleep duration reduced to 2-4 hours per day. Unregulated appetite; patient shows symptoms of bulimic behaviors, frequently forcing herself to vomit using toilet, sink, or trash can. Returned food often contains traces of blood and hair. Patient is biting own cheeks and tongue, possibly as a form of regulating emotions. Patient is unable to control hygiene, requires constant help. Observed increased muscle tension and shortness of breath. Patient appears to be detached, often smiles and ignore surroundings; may experience hallucination and/or delusions. Seems to be feverish and nervous; measured body temperature at normal level (). Occasionally uses sketchbook to create drawings that mostly resemble naked male torsos and actions of domestic violence. Patient’s mother denied that there were any sexual or non-sexual abuse cases in the past, either at home or school, and further relatives described patient’s parents as casual, loving family.
