Created in 1948 by the animation team of Jay Ward and Alex Anderson, Dudley Do-Right made his first official appearance on “The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show“ in 1961. The character of Dudley Do-Right was a well-intentioned but often incompetent Canadian Mountie whose character was inspired by old silent films and the stereotypical characters they portrayed.
