Germany: Coronavirus sceptics in ’ghost-like’ costumes march through Berlin district

Around 25 coronavirus sceptics were seen marching once again through Berlin’s Schoneberg district on Thursday to protest measures put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Protesters were wearing white uniforms and white masks, while marching in line. Several passers-by, some of whom holding Antifa signs were seen reprimanding the protesters, as police units escorted the rally. Activists held a similar performance in Berlin on March 4. According to data provided by the Robert Koch Institute, Germany has recorded its highest number of new COIVD-19 infections since January, with the rate of infection reaching 90 new cases per 100,000 people over the past seven days.
