Michelin prepares a lunar wheel

An airless wheel to equip the future lunar vehicle: this is the new challenge that Michelin has set itself, by joining forces with the team formed by Northrop Grumman, within the framework of a call for tenders from NASA, last November. This lunar wheel will be able to withstand the extreme conditions of the lunar pole to facilitate exploration of the lunar surface and allow a sustainable presence on the moon in 2025 and eventually on Mars.
