One of my heroes the comedy legend Tommy Cooper would have been 100 today. Here’s the number he adopted as his signature tune, ’The Sheik of Araby’, which also happens to be 100 years old - written by Ted Snyder in 1921 (with lyrics by Harry B Smith and Francis Wheeler).
