LEGO House of Cards - SPIKE Prime

A LEGO machine capable of building house of cards. After a long time without personal projects I decided to revisit an old concept that I made for a client that didn´t became reality. It always a challenge to create machines that will interact with other objects, and in this case, the challenge is a little bigger because the objects are playing cards and the goal is to stack them into a house. To be able to solve this, I ran through several small hypothesis and many prototypes. For me, LEGO is one of the most powerful prototyping tool because I can easily built different solutions and test them in a small period of time. Some of the challenges: - Choosing the deck of cards - Cards feeder - Cards grabber - Model Stability - Communication between Hubs The hole process took more than 200h, divided in several nights and weekends for 5 months.
