Pro-Palestine Protesters Want to Shut Down U.K. Spy Station on Cyprus

Britain is using its spy base at RAF Troodos on Cyprus to snoop on Gaza, with spy planes flying from a UK air base nearby at Akrotiri. The colonial-era bases are also being used to bomb the Houthis in Yemen. This has sparked an angry response from the Cyprus’ United Democratic Youth Organisation (EDON), which held a protest outside the base last month in support of Palestine and Yemen.
