Avril Lavigne - Unwanted | TMF Live 2002 | The Music Factory

Avril Ramona Lavigne, born on September 27, 1984, is a Canadian singer-songwriter. She gained prominence at 16 with a two-album deal from Arista Records. Her debut album, “Let Go“ (2002), emerged as the 21st century’s best-selling record by a Canadian artist. Hit singles “Complicated“ and “Sk8er Boi“ established her as the “Pop-Punk Queen,“ shaping the pop-punk genre and opening doors for female-driven punk-inspired music in the early 2000s. “Under My Skin“ (2004) marked her first Billboard 200 chart-topper, selling 10 million copies worldwide. “The Best Damn Thing“ (2007) led by the single “Girlfriend“ conquered charts in seven countries, including the Billboard Hot 100. Following albums “Goodbye Lullaby“ (2011) and “Avril Lavigne“ (2013) achieved commercial triumph, securing gold certifications in Canada, the US, and other regions. After “Head Above Water“ (2019), Lavigne embraced her punk origins in the seventh album, “Love Sux“ (2022). Her legacy boasts eight Grammy nominations. Watch more TMF videos ► Join us.
