Nenets nomads live here. These are the small people of Russia. There are about 43 thousand of them left. They live by reindeer herding. Thanks to deer, they have food, shelter, clothing and transportation. They live in cone-shaped dwellings called chums. It is collected from poles and deer skins. In the center of the dwelling there is a fireplace, with the help of which food is prepared and the tent is heated.
