Circus In The Sky (1965)

Biggin Hill, Kent. Ground to air shot of a parachutist with orange flare coming to land. Various shots of parachutists landing safely and running or gathering the chute as they land. M/S sign British Sky Diving, a child tries on a helmet. A biplane, replica of the Wright Brothers aircraft, flies above the crowds at the air show. A stunt aircraft spins and loops. A helicopter flies over the crowd and performs a steep turn. There is a brief shot of a small yellow plane crashing - quite spectacular - and the commentary tells us that the pilot escaped with just a few cuts (01:38:20). There are various shots of planes, including a Hurricane and a Lancaster, spectators at the show, and a huge hangar with various aircraft nearby, with people of all ages looking about. This is followed by a sequence about gliders - a glider is pulled into the air, a man gets into an orange glider, and a yellow glider takes off. Ground crew wave him away.
