Arrival of Queen Mother in Tunis by the royal yacht ’Britannia’. Tunis gave her an enthusiastic welcome and on the drive to the residence of President Bourguiba police had to hold back the crowds to make a path for the royal car. Then the royal car began its journey to the ancient palace of the beys at La Marsa 14 miles away where President Bourguiba was waiting to greet the royal visito.
