Kidsonic - Repatriation [DRM018]

This EP is the culmination of work since early 2020. The initial idea was to make “Repatriation’’ go together with “Overtech“ (originally called “Artificial“) as a 2 track release. Meanwhile, this one was used for the special mental health album tribute to Jabaru (), leaving more room for the other two tracks to join in, making this the final concept. “Repatriation“ was originally going to be the B side to Kidsonic’s Boey Audio release “Almighty“, but was decided not to release it on that particular release because it was too similar both in concept and in sonic character. The name “Repatriation“ is a term to describe the return of the African diaspora scattered around the world to the birthplace of humanity (Africa).
