Miniature old coffee grinder for dollhouse 😍 Easy polymer clay tutorial

I do not want to smear the main workplace with sawdust, so most of the work takes place elsewhere. The video shows only the basic steps. For the basics, I use wooden craft sticks or ice cream sticks. As a basis, you can take a thick square block or glue a hollow square from sticks. My sticks are too narrow, so I had to glue two sticks together. The edges of the sticks need to be cut a bit with a mini drill, sandpaper or a nail file. Glue the base, bottom and top of the grinder, as in the video. To simulate a drawer, take a small piece of the stick, cut off the edges of it and stick to the base. The handle for the box can be made from the curly head of a toothpick. I made a compartment for coffee from polymer clay. Roll up a clay ball, flatten it on one side and put on top any object with a hole in size to slightly flatten the bottom edge of the compartment. Cut excess clay with a knife. Wrap a piece of wire with polymer clay, cut off excess and place in the center of the compartment. Cover the entire workpiece with metal powder for nails. I cut out the handle for the coffee grinder from an iron can from under the lemonade. Be careful, cutting metal spoils the scissors! I use the usual cheap scissors for manicure, but I only cut metal with them, because they cannot cut other material. Connect all the blanks as shown in the video. Coat the wooden parts of the workpiece with acrylic paint. Wipe off a bit of paint around the edges to make the grinder older. Congratulations, you did it !!
