20,000 Troops And 3,500 Combat Vehicles From 9 NATO Countries Arrive At Ukraine Border During Exercise Dragon-24 (DR-24) in Poland, NATO will test the response of the Polish Armed Forces to a potential crisis, involving approximately 20,000 troops and 3,500 units of military equipment from 9 NATO countries. Participants include Poland, France, Germany, Lithuania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, England and the United States. This exercise will evaluate their capabilities in carrying out combat tasks in various domains, including land, air, sea, and cyberspace. This aims to demonstrate prevention and defense capabilities. DR-24 and other exercises are defensive and not aimed at any particular country but serve as a demonstration of readiness against potential aggression. The exercise marked NATO’s largest demonstration of defense capabilities in decades.
