Archery Meeting (1920-1929)

Archery meeting. Location of events unknown. Several young male university students; wearing identical archery club jackets w/ crossed arrow emblem on breast pocket; stand about holding bows;old stone building in BG; looks collegiate. They arrange themselves in a row and shoot arrows off to rt. The archers all walk across yard. CU target; the guys walk up to the target and look for their arrows. Next; shots of the men giving archery lessons to some fashionable young women; teaching them how to load arrows; aim and shoot. Several shots of the women shooting. Also shots of the group walking across to retrieve arrows. Looks like everyone having fun. Then; suddenly there’s a shot of the guys playing in a jazz combo on a small platform outdoors; w/ a few saxophones in front. They seem to be the same people- -an odd archery-jazz music connection.
