Self Defence For Ladies (1969)

No titles. Holland / Netherlands. Various shots of young women learning self-defence techniques in a gymnasium. Good shots of girls making karate chop movements, freeing themselves from attacker’s grips, twisting men’s ears, kicking men and so on. One shot is in slow motion. Some shots look quite funny. Exterior shot of a young woman walking down a street at night. A man tries to attack her but she fights back and sends him packing with a kick and a punch. She then walks off casually. Cataloguer’s note: attitude of commentator is sort of ’don’t be too tough on men just because they want a kiss and cuddle’ rather than ’this is how to protect yourself from attackers’.
