Flettner Fl-282 V23 Kolibri captured by USAAF

Flettner Fl-282 Kolibri was a single-seat open cockpit intermeshing rotor helicopter, produced during WWII in Germany by Anton Flettner. The Fl-282 V21 & V23 were the reconnaissance liaison versions with two seats for pilot and observer. It was the World’s first series production helicopter.
